Registration
Registration is currently available online, in person, by phone, fax or mail. Early registration is strongly advised due to the space limitations of many classes. To register by mail or fax, please submit the required information on the Registration form including your authorization signature.
Cancellations
- Inclement Weather
- Arlington Location: If the University announces a closure, all OSHA courses located in Arlington will be cancelled. Once the University reopens, you will be notified if the course will be postponed, rescheduled, or cancelled.
- All Other Locations: If inclement weather affects a location where a course is scheduled, please contact UT Arlington OSHA Education Center at 866-906-9190 to confirm closure of that facility or cancellation of a course.
In the event of inclement weather visit www.uta.edu or call 1-866-258-4913 to confirm closure of the University.
Cancellations
UT Arlington Region VI OSHA Education Center reserves the right to change or cancel any class. In the unfortunate event that a class must be changed or cancelled, you will be notified by phone and/or email. You are required to provide a valid e-mail address and phone number to ensure notification. The decision to cancel a class due to insufficient enrollment will be made approximately one to two business days prior to the class start date. In the event that a class for which you have registered is cancelled, you may choose another class or receive a refund in accordance with the UT Arlington, Division for Enterprise Development Refund Policy.Course Payment
- Course Fee Payment Policy
- All registration fees must be made prior to attending class.
- Forms of payment include Cash, Check (personal, cashiers, money order, third-party) payable to UT Arlington, Credit card (MasterCard, VISA, American Express, Discover, Diners Club), company purchase orders for employee course fees, and company payments accompanied by written authorization on company letterhead.
- There is a $50 charge for returned checks.
UT Arlington Region VI OSHA Education Center offers a course payment plan for courses that cost $500 or more for after discounts.
- If the course fee, after discounts, is $500 or more,
- One-third (1/3) of the course fee, plus a Payment Plan Fee of 5% of the course fee, must be paid at the time of registration.
- All fees must be paid in full two (2) full business days prior to the first day of class. If a student is not paid in full by this deadline, they will be put on the waitlist for the course. If full payment is not received prior to the start of the class, all fees the student has paid to-date will be put into escrow.
- Refunds of the standard course fee will follow the Refund-Transfer-Escrow policy. The Payment Plan Fee is non-refundable.
- Students can make as many payments as necessary without additional charge.
- UT Arlington Region VI OSHA Education Center will contact the student five business days prior to the start date of the class to remind them of fees due.

Pricing and Discounts

- Discounts
- Individuals who need the Update for Outreach Trainers course (OSHA 502 or OSHA 503) can take the full trainer course OSHA 500 or OSHA 501 for the cost of the update class. They will need to provide a copy of their current trainer card before registration.
- 5%: Pay for five registrations at once (either different classes or different registrants) and get five percent off the open enrollment price.
- Enrollment fees are waived for all OSHA Region VI employees.
- Discounts cannot be applied retroactively to classes already taken or in progress.
Student Withdrawal and Transfer Policy
Students have several options available should they need to withdraw from a class. The available options are dependent on when the student withdrawal is made. Please note: All student withdrawal requests must be received via telephone, Monday-Friday during normal business hours.- OSHA Courses Student Withdrawal and Transfer Policy
- Transfer to another course with no charge;
- Have the funds held on the student's account for up to one year. These funds would be eligible for a refund, less a processing fee;* or
- Refund of the course fee, less a processing fee.*
If the withdrawal request is received more than two full business days prior to the class start date, students have the following three options:
Processing fees are as follows:
- For course fees less than $1,000, the processing fee will be $35.00
- For course fees $1000 or more, the processing fee will be 5% of the refund amount.
- Allow 4-6 weeks processing time for refunds made by check or 2 weeks for refunds by credit card.
- For course fees less than $1,000, the processing fee will be $35.00
- For course fees $1000 or more, the processing fee will be 5% of the refund amount.
- Allow 4-6 weeks processing time for refunds made by check or 2 weeks for refunds by credit card.
- If the course withdrawal request is received within two full business days prior to the start of the course or on the day of the course, students have the following two options:
- Transfer to another course with no charge; or
- Have the funds held on the participant's account for up to one year. These funds are not eligible for refund. No transfers, account holds, or refunds are allowed once a class has begun.
- Arlington Location: You will be notified if a parking decal is required while you are parked on campus for class. If required, the decal will be included with registration. You must display the decal on each occasion visiting the campus for your class. If you receive a ticket during the first session of class, send a copy of your decal with your ticket to the UT Arlington Police Department and they will dismiss the ticket. Do not ignore any campus citations. A copy of the Parking Rules and Regulations is available at the Police Department, 700 S. Davis Street. Handicap parking is available in the Continuing Education South Facility Parking Area.
- All Other Locations: You will be notified if a parking decal is required at any course location. If required, a parking decal will be provided the first day of class and will be included in registration.
Parking
If a parking decal is required, the decal cost will be included with registration.
Course Materials
All course materials will be provided on the first class day by UT Arlington Region VI OSHA Education Center, unless indicated.
Information and Visitors Center
The University's Prospective Student Center located in Davis Hall and the Dan Dipert University Center provide easy access to campus publications and information such as catalogs, class schedules, brochures, maps, directions, parking tags for campus visitors, and campus event information. The Prospective Student Center can be contacted at 817-272-2090 and the Dan Dipert University Welcome Center can be contacted at 817-272-8687.

Student fees paid for UT Arlington Region VI OSHA Education Center courses include continuing education support costs (facilities, instructors, materials, administration, etc.), but do not include supplemental benefits of the University such as healthcare, student activities and discounts, fitness membership, free access to sporting events, or any similar benefits that degree-seeking students will receive through their payment of University academic tuition and fees.All certificates of course completion and certificate programs will be awarded by the University of Texas at Arlington OSHA Education Center and/or the U.S. Department of Labor/OSHA as allowed.
