This half-day education program is designed for individuals in long term care who may provide in-service education and training for the staff in their facilities. The course will include a discussion of the Long Term Care Worker Protection Program content with a major focus on teaching strategies and materials. A Trainers Tool Kit, filled with resource materials and actual training tools that can be used to support implementing this important education, will be provided upon completion of this training. Funding for this course is provided by a U.S. Department of Labor Occupational Safety and Health Administration Susan Harwood Grant.
**The prerequisite for this program is the Long Term Care Worker Protection Program.**
