Starting Fall 2026:

Allied Health Externship Program Update:

We are pleased to share an important update regarding externship requirements for our Allied Health programs.

Sterile Processing Technician will be the ONLY Allied Health program that will include an externship requirement. All other Allied Health programs offered through our department will no longer require externship hours as a requirement to sit for their respective industry certification exams.

This update will allow participants in our other Allied Health programs to focus on completing their coursework and preparing for their industry certification exam without the additional externship requirement.

Additional information regarding the Sterile Processing Technician externship will be provided as the program moves forward.
