This course covers OSHA Standards, policies, and procedures in general industry. Topics include scope and application of the OSHA General Industry Standards, general industry principles and special emphasis on those areas in general industry which are most hazardous. Upon course completion students will have the ability to define general industry terms found in the OSHA General Industry Standards, identify hazards which occur in general industry, locate and determine appropriate OSHA General Industry Standards, policies, and procedures, and describe the use of OSHA General Industry Standards and regulations to supplement an ongoing safety and health program.

Randey Hayes
Randey has worked in the field of Occupational Safety and Health since 2003. He has an Associate of Science degree in Occupational Safety and an Associate in Science degree in Aviation Systems Technology. He is an OSHA Education Center instructor and is the owner of Oklahoma Home & Safety Inspectors, providing customized training for companies in all industries and home inspections. Randey is also an Occupational Safety Manager for the Dept. of the Air Force where he has held several positions to include being the safety representative to the Inspector General of the Air Force Reserve Command. He is a licensed home inspector for the state of Oklahoma. Previously, he was an aircraft mechanic for 21 years and holds an FAA Airframe & PowerPlant License. Randey retired from the US Air Force Reserve as a Chief Master Sergeant after 33 years of service. Randey is a Certified Safety and Health Official (CSHO) and an authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for the 10 & 30 hour course.Quintin Jones
Quintin has nearly 30 years of experience in Occupational Safety and Health. He has been performing Safety, Health and Environmental training for the past 14 years, in addition to performing audits and inspections on safety/health and environmental projects in both private and public sectors.
