Excel: Pivot Tables

This class will start with being able to identify the differences between a table and a database, then creation of Pivot Tables from databases will be the next step.

Refreshing the tables, changing the original information, creating multiple pivots from the same date, adding new fields to the pivot, subtotaling the pivot, grouping the table and more options will be taught. Slicers and Pivot charts will be used as well as other filters.

We will also create a pivot table from multiple databases and use the Pivot Table Wizard. We will filter the table and create new calculated fields with new formulas based on existing data, learn how to change the information showing to be percentages of the total, count of the total, and sub totals.

You will be using Pivot Tables for data analysis.
