Industrial Hygiene Techniques

This course introduces participants to industrial hygiene concepts, principles, and practices to evaluate physical and chemical hazards in the workplace. Participants will learn to use and calibrate industrial hygiene measurement equipment, such as personal sampling pumps, indoor air quality meters, and gas analyzers. They will learn sampling methods and techniques for various potential workplace hazards.

Notes:

This training will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, and no software download is required. Participants must have a PC or Mac computer with audio and video capabilities, and an uninterrupted internet connection. Participants must present a government-issued photo ID to attend this training.

Tandi Ball

Tandi received a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene from the University of Oklahoma and has been in the industry of occupational safety and health since 1991. She is a Certified Safety and Health Official, in both the construction and general industries. As an OSHA Compliance Officer for the State of New Mexico, she participated in the OSHA response to the events on September 11, at the World Trade Center. She has been an OSHA Education Center instructor since 2001.
