This 40-hour exam prep class is designed to provide the fundamentals of landscape irrigation for future landscape irrigation designers, contractors, consultants, and installers. It has in-depth coverage of irrigation systems including history, definitions, components, hydraulics, design, installation, repair, trouble-shooting, maintenance, technological advances in system design and equipment, new Texas regulations, and water conservation for residential and commercial applications.

This is the required TCEQ accredited 40-hour class for the Texas Irrigation Licensing Exam, and the goal is to prepare prospective landscape designers for the exam.

The road to certification is a 3-step process:
Step 1: Enroll and complete the TCEQ accredited 40-hour class for the Texas Irrigation Licensing Exam
Step 2: After completion of the class, you may apply with TCEQ for your exam
             Please note: Your application can take up to 7-10 business days for a background check to be ran
                                    You will need to pay the exam fee of $120 and the licensing fee of $111 at this time
Step 3: Once application has been accepted, you may sit for your exam

***You will need to renew your license every three years and the cost for renewal is $111
