INTRODUCTION TO WATER AND WASTEWATER REGULATIONS
This course provides an introduction to the Clean Water Act (CWA) and the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES). The course will facilitate the student’s ability to attain and maintain compliance with applicable water and wastewater regulations, and to better understand how those regulations impact their organization. Discussion topics include NPDES permit types for storm water, industrial wastewater, domestic wastewater, and pre-treatment. Case studies and class activities will be used to provide opportunities for participants to utilize knowledge gained during the course.
PLEASE NOTE: A percentage of 70% or higher is considered passing for the test associated with this online course. Upon completion and passing the test, you will be able to download a certification of completion.
You will only have one opportunity to pass the test. If you do not pass the test, you will be required to register and pay again to retake the course and test.
An in-course quiz may be included in this course. An in-course quiz is not the course test. The course test is scored seperately and is available after the course has been viewed.
