This course provides a complete and concise coverage of materials management. It introduces the supply chain concept and progresses through the planning and control of goods and components.
Modern practices of manufacturing planning and control systems, purchasing, physical distribution, lean production, JIT manufacturing, sustainability and "green" production will be addressed. Participants will leave the course with a practical understanding of how effective materials management supports the supply chain.
