This course presents an overview of logistics & supply chain management. It will explore why these activities are important and how they are integral to the success of any firm.
In addition it will explore modern logistics and supply chain management from a managerial perspective characterized by geopolitical tensions, increasing trade among countries and across continents, supply chain vulnerabilities caused by severe natural disasters, and an unabated pace of technological advancement. By the end of the course students will have an excellent understanding of logistics and supply chain fundamentals in today's dynamic global landscape.
