Every step matters: From step stools to extension ladders, make sure you're putting the right foot forward. Every year over 100 people die in ladder-related accidents, and thousands suffer disabling injuries. Join the American Ladder Institute (ALI) and participate in the third annual National Ladder Safety Month February 24 - March 30. This important month was designed to raise awareness of ladder safety and to decrease the number of ladder-related injuries and fatalities.
The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Greater Houston, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA) are hosting a symposium on Ladder Safety to discuss real life events, solutions, and the role of leadership in preventing these tragedies. The event will also be live streamed for those who cannot attend in person.
