Creative Writing and Getting Published
This program is designed for hobbyists, aspiring authors, and anyone who has ever wanted to write a book or explore their creativity in a supportive, engaging environment. This hands-on program guides participants through the full writing journey-from generating ideas and developing storytelling skills to refining their work and understanding the path to publication. Participants will explore a variety of writing styles, including personal narratives, fiction, and writing for children and young adults, while building confidence and discovering their unique voice.
Required Courses:
Total Program Cost: 1374* (Cost does not include the $50.00 Certificate Fee). Upon successful completion of the program, participants are required to complete the Creative Writing and Getting Published OVERALL Certificate Request Form, submit it to the Continuing Education office, and pay a $50.00 processing fee.
Courses are Live Webcasts
All courses are delivered as live, instructor-led webcasts, allowing participants to engage in real-time learning from any location. Sessions are conducted online via Zoom, providing opportunities for interaction, discussion, and hands-on guidance. Participants will be able to ask questions, collaborate with peers, and gain practical insights in a convenient and accessible virtual environment. You will receive an email with the Zoom link 24-hours prior to the start of class.
