Lean Six Sigma is a methodology aimed at reducing waste associated with the flow of materials and information in a process from beginning to end. The overall goal is to identify and eliminate non-essential and non-value added steps in the business process in order to streamline production, improve quality, and gain customer loyalty.
The University of Texas at Arlington's Lean Six Sigma program consists of three 32-hour courses, all with the same goal : preparing you for IASSC's certification exams.
- Yellow Belt
- Green Belt
- Black Belt
UT Arlington's Lean Six Sigma program is accredited by the International Association for Six Sigma Certification. Though not required, our courses prepare you to take and pass IASSC's certification exams.
