Advanced system safety course focused on engineering aspects to enhance safety engineers' skill and knowledge in techniques for hazard identification and control and risk quantification and management. Engineering and management principles, criteria, and techniques introduced in the System Safety and Analysis course are reviewed. Advanced system safety engineering methods are applied in real life applications. Ability to develop recommendations for engineering solutions to control the effects of hazards. Presents system safety engineering case studies and lessons learned. Prerequisites: SE 101-System Safety and Analysis and SE 201-Hazard and Accident Analysis Techniques
