RM 105 -Fire Risk Management

This course covers the application of risk management concepts and principles to the operational practices of fire departments and emergency response organizations. It incorporates a risk management approach toward all fire department activities and provides a foundation for evaluation, strategic decision making, planning, evaluation, and command and control. Participants will learn how to develop a Risk Management Plan as outlined in NFPA 1500 in order to identify and evaluate risks and establish and implement control plans that address administrative, engineering, and personal protection risk management control methods..
