PIPELINE BASIC LOCATOR TRAINING
2 DAYS (16 HOURS )
COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This basic training is designed for pipeline system employees responsible for design, construction, and maintenance of the pipeline system. The course will address pipeline specific issues and regulatory requirements, locating challenges as well as best practices for damage prevention. Accurate locating techniques and safe excavation practices are the fixtures of this training. Recommended for pipeline employees and contractors with little or no experience in the pipeline industry.
- COURSE CONTENT INCLUDES:
- Review of One Call Laws, Line Marking Standards, and Line Locating Technologies
- Locating Best Practices and Challenges
- Damage Prevention, Equipment Operation, Improving Design and Construction
- Excavation Safety and Mastery of Technical Skill Exercises
CERTIFICATE:
Upon successful completion of the written and field tests, participants will receive a certificate.
AUDIENCE:
This course is recommended for pipeline employees & contractors with little or no experience in the pipeline industry.
