CCT 521R - TMUTCD UPDATE AND WORK ZONE REFRESHER

COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This course provides an update of basic changes included in the Revision 2, November 2011 edition of the Texas Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (TMUTCD). This class also provides an overview of the minimum legal requirements for designing, setting up, and taking down a construction or maintenance work zone on public roads in Texas.
- COURSE CONTENT INCLUDES:
- The structure, organization, and content of the 2011 TMUTCD
- The minimum legal requirements for designing, setting-up, and taking-down a construction or maintenance work zone on public roads in Texas
- Preparing a series of traffic control plan designs
CERTIFICATE:
Upon successful course completion, participants will receive a wallet card valid for a period of 4 years.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
This course has been approved for 5 continuing education credit hours by the County Judges & Commissioners Association of Texas.
