COURSE DESCRIPTION:

TxDOT approved refresher course for those who have taken the full 16-hour course. Prerequisite documentation from the past four years is required. Documentation from other TxDOT-approved Traffic Control trainings may also be accepted.

COURSE CONTENT INCLUDES:

Legal Standards for Traffic Control Plans.
Designing a series of traffic control plans that meet TMUTCD and TxDOT (TCP) requirements.
Procedures for conducting periodic inspections of the traffic control setup.
Importance of proper record keeping.
A review of basic communication strategies for improved worker performance.

CERTIFICATE:
Participants who successfully finish the course will receive a Certificate of Completion.
