Legal Aspects of Safety
This seminar will help participants identify legal risks. Using real life examples, participants will learn civil and criminal liability exposures of a practicing safety; to recognize the roles of statues, regulations, and industry standards to avoid both civil and criminal liabilities; identify and follow international laws and legal requirements for SH&E management; protect against potential liabilities and the perception of unethical practices; and to navigate legal requirements to mitigate risk.
