Dog Training 101 for Adult Dogs: Using Balanced Reinforcement (In Parker County)

"Is your dog in need of better manners at home and in public? Dog Training 101: Obedience & Leash Skills is an informational, speaker-led course designed for dog owners who want to improve their dog’s behavior using both positive and negative reinforcement techniques.
This class will cover essential obedience training, leash handling, and public behavior to help your dog become a well-mannered companion. Topics include basic commands, structured leash walking, reducing unwanted behaviors, and building clear communication between you and your dog. We’ll also discuss how to effectively use balanced training methods to encourage good behavior while addressing problem areas.
This class is designed for dogs over 6 months old and is not intended for puppies. It focuses on traditional balanced training methods and does not incorporate e-collar training. If you’re specifically interested in e-collar techniques, we offer a separate course dedicated to that method. This session is lecture-style, so please leave your dogs at home while you learn the techniques to train them successfully!.
