If you love to read and have always wanted to write, bring a pen or your laptop to this class. Students will learn how to create fiction that will resonate with readers and will take their first steps towards developing their own unique literary voice. Topics include: narration, characterization, dialogue, conflict, plot and style. You'll also learn the difference between literary and commercial fiction and find which one is right for you. Students will have the opportunity to have samples of their work critiqued each week.
