The ATI TEAS exam (Test of Essential Academic Skills) is used by nursing schools to help assess nursing students' knowledge in reading, math, science, and English and language usage.
Note: This is a high-level overview of the four exam sections of the ATI TEAS. Students are expected to already have basic skills of English, math, and science.

Pre-Licensure BSN students admitted to UT Arlington for the Fall 2017 semester and after - as freshman or transfer students - are required to take the ATI TEAS exam for their standardized admission exam to the upper-division nursing program. Click here
