Understanding Exposure is a 1.5-hour, non-credit continuing education course designed to help participants master the essential principles of photographic exposure. This introductory workshop explains how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together to create well-exposed images while giving photographers greater creative control over their photographs.

Through demonstrations and practical examples, participants will learn how each exposure setting affects brightness, depth of field, motion, and image quality. Participants will gain the confidence to move beyond automatic camera settings and make informed creative decisions.
