TRAFFIC CONTROL SUPERVISOR REFRESHER COURSE
8 HOURS

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

TxDOT approved refresher course for those who have taken the full 16-hour course. Prerequisite documentation from the past four years is required. Documentation from other TxDOT-approved Traffic Control trainings may also be accepted.

COURSE CONTENT INCLUDES:

• Legal Standards for Traffic Control Plans.
• Designing a series of traffic control plans that meet TMUTCD and TxDOT (TCP) requirements.
• Procedures for conducting periodic inspections of the traffic control setup.
• Importance of proper record keeping.
• A review of basic communication strategies for improved worker performance.

CERTIFICATE:
Upon successful completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion from UTA’s Extension and Extended Campus Transportation Training and Development Institute (TTDI) and a Qualified Flagger wallet card valid for a period of 4 years.
