Mastering Light: Natural and Artificial is a 1.5-hour, non-credit continuing education course designed to introduce participants to the essential role of light in creating impactful photographs. Through demonstrations and practical examples, participants will learn how to recognize, evaluate, and use both natural and artificial light to improve image quality, enhance mood, and create visual interest.

Participants will also explore simple techniques for controlling light and minimizing harsh shadows to produce more balanced and visually appealing photographs.

This course is ideal for beginner photographers, hobbyists, and content creators who want to improve their understanding of lighting without the need for advanced equipment. No prior photography experience is required.
