Photography is all about light — but not all light is equal. In this session, you’ll learn how to read and use available light, from soft golden-hour light to harsh midday sun. We’ll explore how light direction, quality, and contrast shape a photograph, and how to work with challenging indoor and low-light situations without fighting your environment. This class is about training your eye to recognize good light when it appears — and knowing how to position yourself and your subject to make the most of it. By the end of the session, you’ll start seeing light as an active part of every photograph you take, not just something that happens to be there.
