He works as an occupational safety and health professional conducting safety audits, developing safety programs, delivering training, helping to reducing job related injuries. Oscar has been an OSHA Education Center instructor since 2007 years and is a Certified Safety and Health Official for General Industry and Construction Industry.

This course covers best practices in crane and derrick operation using the new OSHA Cranes and Derricks in Construction Rule. Course topics include hazards associated with crane assembly and disassembly; types of cranes; lifting concepts; rigging and wire rope; signaling; employee qualifications and training; and maintenance, repair, and inspection requirements. Workshops reinforce concepts of safe crane operation. Upon course completion, students will be able to identify types of cranes and their components and attachments, determine safe operating conditions, and recognize common violations of the OSHA Standards.

Parking: Parking is prohibited around The Westfall Group building that shares an entrance to the parking lot. It is recommended that students park along the fence line on the back perimeter of the AGC building.
