Clinical Medical Assistant

The Clinical Medical Assistant course prepares participants to work in private medical practices, hospitals, medical clinics, and other medical facilities. Participants will learn how to schedule medical procedures, take patient medical histories, update patient medical files, measure and record vitals, administer EKG/ECGs, instruct patients on medication usage, collect lab specimens, sterilize medical instruments, plus much more.

Total Hours: 300 (140 classroom & 160 externship)

Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent, current immunizations, and ability to lift 50 lbs.

Tuition includes textbooks(s), one set of scrubs, CPR training, externship, and the Certified Medical Assistant national certification exam.
