Photography Basics

Photography Basics is an 8-hour, non-credit continuing education course designed for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of digital photography. Through a combination of instruction and hands-on practice, participants will develop the skills needed to confidently use a digital camera and create well-composed, high-quality images.

This course is ideal for hobbyists, aspiring photographers, and anyone interested in improving their photography skills. No prior photography experience is required. Participants are encouraged to bring a digital camera with manual or semi-manual shooting capabilities, although many concepts may also be applied using advanced smartphone cameras.
