Environmental Training Institute (ETI)
The UTA Division for Enterprise Development offers compliance assistance training for those managing environmental challenges or implementing environmental regulations in Air, Waste, Water and Management. Through training and education, you or your employees can play an active role in your sustainable compliance strategy. Visits from the EPA can be extremely expensive. Avoid paying penalties by educating your workforce. Courses can be taken individually or in support of certificate programs, simply register for your courses and begin the learning process. Finally, with contract or on-site training, we bring the course materials and experts to your facility, customizing the curriculum for your business, on a schedule that is convenient for your operations.

CERTIFICATION PROGRAMS
Certificate in Sustainability and ESG
This program is for professionals such as Sustainability or Environmental Manager, Safety Manager, Business Development Manager, City Planner, Waste Management Professional, Renewable Energy Sales Representative, Supply Chain Manager, Political Strategist or citizens who want to learn more about Sustainability and Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) skills. The learned skills from this course will help you stay up-to-date in your current role or advance your career in the field of Sustainability and ESG. At the end of the course completion you will create a complete Sustainability plan.
Specialist in Environmental Regulations (SER)
This certification introduces three key areas within the environmental industry: Air, Water, and Waste. Earn your SER by completing four (4) required fundamental regulatory courses. Once you complete these requirements, you are only four (4) additional courses away from completing your Environmental Regulatory Professional (ERP) or Environmental Science Professional (ESP) requirements, and six (6 ) additional courses away from completing your Certified Environmental Manager ( CEM)

Environmental Regulatory Professional (ERP)
This certificate program focuses on providing a professional with tools to understand and implement environmental regulatory requirements. To receive this designation, the ERP will have completed a set of core required courses and four electives based on their interests and/or industry. A listing of the curriculum requirements is provided below. The certificate consists of taking four required courses and four electives.

Environmental Science Professional (ESP)
For those environmental professionals seeking information on the science behind the regulations, the Environmental Science Professional certificate program has curriculum to support this goal. With a base knowledge of the regulatory requirements, this certificate program includes electives specific to the ESP. A listing of the curriculum requirements is provided below. The ESP certification requirements are met when the four required courses and four electives are completed.
Certified Environmental Manager (CEM)
Environmental professionals looking for tools to manage their environmental duties will find this advanced level certification program is aligned with their goals. The management of environmental issues requires skills that include: regulatory knowledge, leadership, communication and planning. This certificate program has courses to support the development of these skills. The CEM certification requirements are met when the seven (7) required courses and three (3) electives are completed.
Master Certification (MC) for the Environmental Professional
The Master Certification is our most advanced level of certification with tracks available in Safety and Health, Environmental, and Risk Management. The foundation of this advanced certification is the Management System Design for EHS course made up of three sessions with hands-on application work completed by the participants between sessions. To complete the Master Certification, participants must complete all requirements and required electives in their selected track.

This course assists environmental and safety managers in identifying legal issues, deepening their understanding of how the law intersects with work duties and responsibilities, and learning how best to protect themselves and their employers from claims and enforcement actions.
STORM WATER POLLUTION PREVENTION PLANS (SWPPP) (LIVE WEBCAST)
This course covers the fundamental requirements of a storm water pollution prevention plan including how to identify your facility’s potential sources of pollution, discharge, or contamination, and methods to prevent and control storm water pollution. From new construction to plant operations, participants will gain an understanding of erosion and sedimentation challenges as well as methods to monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SWPPPs.
