In order to ensure that students are proficient from instruction throughout the entire certificate program, a capstone class is offered to give students an opportunity to build a complete project based on their specific discipline. All four (4) CADD courses must be completed prior to registering for the capstone.

An actual local company will participate as a client for the students to deliver a complete product. All students who pass the capstone will get credit for completing the project, and would also earn the right to use the company as a job reference, regardless of which solution will be chosen by the client. The client will ultimately select a solution from one of the students for production use.
