Long Term Care Worker Protection Program

Overview

Designed for long term care professionals, this program covers many of the current OSHA standards with specific application to long term care. The content is beneficial to anyone working in nursing homes and assisted living centers. Enhancing the awareness of potential health and safety hazards in the workplace and how they can be eliminated or minimized supports the achievement of better patient outcomes and organizational goals.

Course Schedule

Day 1
Long Term Care Worker Protection Program*							7:30am - 3:30pm

Day 2
Long Term Care Worker Protection Program							8:00am - 11:30am
Train-the-Trainer							12:15pm - 4:45pm

*Prerequisite for Train-the-Trainer. You MUST register for each course separately below.

No refreshments or lunch will be served. Sufficient time will be provided for breaks and lunch.

There is no charge to attend this conference. This training and related materials are provided under Susan Harwood Program grant number SH-23578-12-60-F-48 from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration U.S. Department of Labor.

Continuing Nursing Education

This activity is provider approved for 13.5 contact hours of Continuing Nursing Education by Workplace Nurses, LLC. Workplace Nurses, LLC, is an approved provider of Continuing Nursing Education by the California Board of Registered Nursing, CEP 13654.
