Lean and the Environment

The Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality has partnered with the Zero Waste Network to offer lean and environment training. This training will teach you to apply proven Lean Principles to reduce your waste and save money. Past participants saved more than $1.3 million dollars, and reduced over 650,000 pounds of hazardous waste, conserving a million gallons of water and reducing energy use; participants reported these benefits led to a more productive, profitable and clean operation. This course is good for large and small businesses. It should be taken by managers, EHS professionals, facility managers, purchasing officers or anyone involved in production of a product or service. .
