Learn the fundamentals of medical coding and billing and start an exciting new career in the Healthcare Industry. The course includes administrative front-office procedures, medical terminology and anatomy, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS Coding. Professionalism and confidentiality are emphasized.
Total Hours: 120 hours
Prerequisites: High school diploma or equivalent.
Included in tuition: Textbook(s) and the Certified Billing & Coding Specialist exam.
Additional Costs (optional): Certified Medical Administrative Assistant exam ($117).

Notes:
VERY IMPORTANT: This class meets online via MS Teams. However, the first day of class (July 12), mid-term exam (TBD), and last day of class (November 17) meet on the campus of UT Arlington.
