Applied Fire Safety, Protection, & Analysis (NFPA 101)

This course examines fire safety in building design, occupancy, and maintenance exploring the issues of safety of facilities from a life and fire safety and fire code compliance standpoint. The course will cover the NFPA 101 Life Safety Code and discuss the interrelation of construction, built-in fire protection, occupancy, and building maintenance. Participants will explore the issues of adopted codes versus referenced standards and face problems in code compliance with more than one applicable code.
Participants must present a government-issued photo ID in order to attend this training.

Eugene Stabulis has instructed for UT Arlington since 2014. He has instructed in the fields of health and safety, OSHA, fire safety and hazardous materials. Eugene has also served as one of a team of Fire Service Instructors at the Fort Monmouth Fire Academy from its inception in 1998, instructing both Military and Civilians who were seeking Dept. of Defense fire service certification classes.
