Learn how create a Story Bible for a fiction writing project, so that you can shape an idea into its most vivid version – while organizing information in the same way a journalist plans out a story. Lessons from the journalism classroom are applied to short stories and novels – centering around the 5 W’s and H. WHO becomes character development, WHAT becomes premise, WHEN and WHERE become setting and worldbuilding, HOW becomes plot design, and WHY becomes exploration of theme. Several handouts will be included to kickstart your project.
