Introduction to Digital Portrait and Wedding Photography

This course covers the basics of Digital Portrait Photography and Digital Wedding Photography, giving you knowledge and control over your camera to create the photographs that you want. The course will cover individual, children, group, and wedding specific portraiture along with the following topics: lighting, composition, lenses, subject selection and posing. Students will have assignments that require the photographing of individual(s) and still life objects. Camera requirements for the course are a digital camera capable of full manual operation. Students need a DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex), ZLR (Zoom lens reflex), or advanced Range Finder type digital camera. Digital cameras with lens exchange capabilities are preferred. Students should have a basic knowledge of digital photography and digital camera operation. Students should have an off-camera flash unit. Basic photography reminders will be available.
Prerequisite: Introduction to Digital Photography I or equivalent.
