In this course you will explore methods to help you control the light in various lighting situations. Combining classroom discussion with hands-on activities, you will learn about controlling light utilizing light position and size, restricting light with various tools, utilizing refraction and reflection, altering color temperature utilizing on-camera Kelvin settings, adjusting exposure time, and painting with light. This is a fun and informative class developed to help you improve your photography by learning to control light.
Camera requirements: Digital camera capable of full manual operation, DSLR (Digital Single Lens Reflex), ZLR (Zoom lens reflex) or advance Range Finder type digital camera. If you are unsure of your camera, please call our office before registering.
Prerequisite: Digital Photography Light and Lighting (14PH3112). No exceptions.
