OSHA’s New Silica Standard
16 Hours Learn what OSHA's new Silica Standard means to the Oil and Gas Industry. This training will explain the result of assessments by NIOSH, identify the sources of silica exposure in Oil & Gas, discuss the changes in the new silica standard, the impact on Oil and Gas, and the timeline for implementing these new requirements. Requirements for air monitoring, engineering controls and work practices to control exposure, controlling access to high-exposure sites, use of respiratory protection, employee training, and medical surveillance related to minimizing silica exposures will be discussed.
