Teen Academies

UTA Teen Academies are specialized, invite-only programs created for highly motivated teens who are ready for advanced, immersive summer learning experiences. These academies offer exclusive access to expert faculty, innovative projects, and real-world learning that goes beyond a traditional summer camp. New academies will continue to be added, so we encourage families to check back as additional opportunities become available.

This year, we are excited to launch our first Teen Academy: the Entry to Engineering Teen Academy, presented in partnership with UTA’s College of Engineering. This one-week day camp provides students with an authentic preview of engineering pathways and college life at UTA.

Campers will engage in interactive, hands-on projects that showcase how engineers design creative solutions to real-world challenges. Through guided lab activities, collaborative team challenges, and guest sessions led by UTA faculty and industry professionals, students will explore how engineering supports innovation, sustainability, and community impact. Campers will also tour UTA’s state-of-the-art engineering facilities and learn about the wide range of engineering disciplines available at the university level.
