CEE 301 - Basic Water and Wastewater Regulations

This course includes an overview of the National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) and Clean Water Act (CWA). The course covers the following NPDES permit types: storm water, industrial wastewater, Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW), and pre-treatment. Participants will develop permitting strategies that meet and exceed applicable regulatory standards within their industry.

*Equivalent to course code ETI 301

  • Nation Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Program and Pre-treatment Permits
  • Other water regulations (e.g., Spill Prevention, Containment, and Countermeasure (SPCC), Wetlands)
