COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This two-day advanced course is designed to help utility locating professionals elevate their technical skills and field expertise. Participants will engage in extensive hands-on outdoor training using a wide range of locating equipment, devices, and methods. The course also covers advanced troubleshooting techniques, site locating plan development, and practical strategies that combine technology with deductive reasoning to identify, resolve, and prevent common utility locating errors.

This training is specifically recommended for professionals with at least three years of utility line locating experience who are looking to advance their knowledge and refine their field performance.

• Tips for Creating and Deploying a Site Locating Plan
• Advanced Line Locating and Marking Techniques
• Review of Related Laws, Standards, and Regulations
• Mastery of Electronic Detection Equipment with One-On-One Instructor Evaluations
• Excavation Safety, Troubleshooting Techniques, and Best Practices

CERTIFICATE:
Upon successfully passing the written and field tests, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion.
