This is the primary class for all personnel involved in the design, layout, and maintenance of traffic control devices on public roadways.
Course content includes:
- Designing, installing, and maintaining traffic control devices within work zones.
- Design of traffic control plans.
- Proper use of hand signaling devices.
Upon successful course completion, participants will receive a certificate of completion from the University of Texas at Arlington's Public Works Institute and will be a "Qualified Flagger."
This course is also recognized for 16 hours of training credit for TCEQ Water and Wastewater Operators.
