Learn the fundamentals of medical coding and billing and start an exciting new career in the Healthcare Industry. The course includes administrative front-office procedures, medical terminology and anatomy, CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS Coding. Professionalism and confidentiality are emphasized.

Included in tuition: Textbook(s) and the Certified Billing & Coding Specialist exam.

NO CLASS November 23 and 25, 2026, December 21, 23, 28 and 30, 2026, January 18, 2027 and March 8 and 10, 2027 due to campus holidays.
VERY IMPORTANT: This class meets online via MS Teams. However, the first day of class, mid-term exam (TBD), and last day of class meet on the campus of UT Arlington.
