Skipper holds a BS degree in Industrial Technology, with a safety option, from Louisiana State University. He is a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) by examination. He is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt. Skipper is a recipient of ASSE's highest honor, that of being named a Society Fellow. He was selected as the recipient of ASSE's National Edgar Monsanto Queeny Safety Professional of the Year Award in 2000 and has also been recognized as Safety Professional of the Year for the Greater Baton Rouge Chapter (1985), Fort Worth Chapter (1989-90) and Region III (1988-89). Skipper also has been recognized as Bongarde SafetyXchange's National Safety Trainer of the Year. "

Update for EPA Outreach Trainer Course (Refresher)

This course is designed for Authorized Outreach Trainers who completed the ETI 501 EPA Outreach trainer Course. This course provides an update on EPA regulations and instructional approaches. Upon completion, participants will demonstrate effective adult learning principles and training techniques to present environmental hazards as they continue to teach the EPA 8-Hour Environmental Hazard Awareness class.

Prerequisites: Authorized Outreach Trainers are required to complete ETI 501 EPA Outreach Trainer Course.

Refresher Training: Authorized outreach trainers are required to attend the ETI 503 Update for the EPA Outreach Trainer Course at least once every three (3) years to maintain their trainer status.

We recommend all participants bring a Laptop to class.

Parking: Parking is prohibited around The Westfall Group building that shares an entrance to the parking lot. It is recommended that students park along the fence line on the back perimeter of the AGC building.
