Stack Testing / Ambient Monitoring Project Management (Online Simulcast)

To ensure that the regulated community understands EPA data quality assurance requirements for performing stack testing and ambient monitoring, this course provides attendees an overview of key concepts and best management practices for successful Stack Testing/Ambient Monitoring Project Management and testing oversight. Topics covered: review of common EPA stack test methods and common pollutants monitored, how to read and interpret a stack test report, identify errors/ omissions, identifying key siting and configuration factors that affect monitoring, required data collection, and quality assurance necessary for data validation.
Prerequisite: AIR 201 Fundamentals of the Clean Air Act

As an alternative to our traditional on-campus and online course offerings we are pleased to now offer a third alternative. Many of our live classrooms are being simulcast online so you can attend class from your home or office without the commute from your personal computer or mobile device. All you will need is an internet connection and the ability to download the GoToMeeting plugin and/or mobile app. With the simulcast options you can dial into the classroom remotely using our GoToMeeting online classroom. You will see and hear the instructor and be able to chat with the instructor as well as your classmates. Class will start and end at the times indicated as if you were taking a traditional live class. Each participant will receive information as to how to access the online environment within 48 hours prior to the start of the class. Diana Lundelius

Diana L. Lundelius, CHMM



Diana Lundelius is currently a Senior Enforcement Officer at USEPA Region 6 in the Air Permitting Enforcement Section. In addition to enforcement case investigations, inspections, and judicial civil referrals, Diana manages the air consent decree tracking program, reviews and responds to alternative monitoring plan requests, and participates in several EPA national air technical work groups. She is also one of two Lean/Six Sigma Black Belts for Region 6. She has 35 years combined experience as an industrial analytical lab chemist and as a multi-media environmental manager, working for municipal and federal government, private industry, and as a consultant. She is a widely published author and presenter in the field of industrial regulatory compliance. Diana has a bachelors degree in biochemistry, and has been a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) since 1999. Before joining EPA in August 2010, she previously received several state and national awards for her achievements in environmental management, and was named a Fellow of the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management in 2013. During her tenure at EPA, she has received the Region 6 annual WE CARE award, two Bronze Medals For Commendable Service, and the Region 6 Innovation Award.
