This course addresses the eight core elements of an effective safety and health system and those central issues that are critical to each element's development, implementation and proper management through the use of written material. The focus of this course is to develop the student's skills and knowledge in the development and implementation of a company's safety and health management system with emphasis on the written program documents required by OSHA. Using a hands-on approach, students will have the opportunity to develop policies, procedures and checklists that are required to effectively manage their own safety and health management system.
Students completing this course will also receive a completion certificate for the OSHA 7500 - Introduction to Safety and Health Management course.
