HAZWOPER First Responder Awareness Level
$150/8 HoursThis course is designed for individuals who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance release. This course provides the required training so these individuals may initiate an emergency response sequence by notifying the proper authorities of the release. Topics covered in the course include: hazardous materials and the risks associated with them; potential outcomes associated with an emergency incident; haz-mat recognition; haz-mat identification; the role of the awareness level individual; site security and control; DOT Emergency Response Guidebook; additional resource needs; and, communications.
