Certified Nurse Aide
Certified Nurse Aides provide direct hands-on care for patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or other member of the medical staff. Participants who complete the program will satisfy the Texas Department of Aging and Disability (TDADS) requirements and be eligible to take the State exam while gaining the skills, knowledge and practical experiences to be part of the health care team. Prerequisites: Current immunizations and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Tuition includes textbook(s), one set of scrubs, gait belt, professional liability insurance (clinicals) and the State Examination Fee.
