This course is designed for contractors, military, and government employees who enforce, or must comply with, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) safety and health requirements (EM 385-1-1, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Safety & Health Requirements Manual) and OSHA 29 CFR 1926. Attendees will learn the unique procedures established by the USACE contracts and EM 385-1-1. Topics include recognition, avoidance, abatement, and prevention of safety and health hazards in construction. Specific topics cover preparation of site-specific accident prevention plan (APP), activity hazard analysis (AHA) development, site personnel training, incident response, and jobsite auditing.

Notes:

This training will be conducted via Microsoft Teams, and no software download is required. Participants must have a PC or Mac computer with audio and video capabilities, and an uninterrupted internet connection. Participants must present a government-issued photo ID to attend this training.
